Getting started

Take the key of the vehicle

Push the button located on the door handle to unlock the vehicle.
Step 3
The car is now unlocked, you can open the doors

To unlock your vehicle using the door handle button or the Keyless- Go: Make sure you have the key in your possession.

Touch the inner surface of the door handle (2) on the smart key.
Step 3
After unlocking the doors, the doors will automatically re-lock after 30 seconds unless a door is opened.

Press the EV button on your left-hand side without depressing the brake pedal.

The warning lights can be checked on the dashboard. START/RUN

Press the EV button while depressing the brake pedal in P or N. Start the vehicle in P for the safety.

When you are in a safe and appropriate parking spot, keep your feet on the brake and shift the vehicle into 'Park' or 'P' mode using the gearbox.

Leave the vehicle and ensure all doors are properly closed

Lock the car with the key or press the button on the outside door handle.

The charge port is located in the back right of the Mercedes EQA right before the tail light. To access the charging port you press the charging port door in the left side of the panel - the door will open to reveal the waterproof plug cover. Remove the plug cover to reveal the combined charging port.
Step 2
Before you begin charging, you must ensure the vehicle power system is turned off. To start charging, insert the connector into the charge port and lock the vehicle using the key fob.
Step 3
Unplug & Go When charging is complete, unlock the vehicle, gently pull and remove the connector and return it to its dock. You can stop charging at any time by disconnecting the charge cable.
